BOHC Daytimers Division
Thank you to everyone who have been asking about the new DAYTIME Division. We appreciate the efforts of the boys that are putting it together and look forward to kicking it off in January. .Registration will begin September, watch the website or wait for the announcement in email.

- January 2025 to April 2025
- Mixed skills (like Summer)
- 6 teams will play 16 games each

Getting Closer to Winter
We now have the City allocation of ice times for September to March. April ice discussion has not commenced. The Winter schedule starts Friday September 20th this year, an earlier start than in prior years. While the City only discusses ice through end of March 2025 for now, with the early start we currently have enough ice that we should have Championship Sunday on Sun April 6th.
Our first Winter games are Friday September 20, 2024
We do not play on:
- Thanksgiving Sunday or Monday
- Grey Cup Sunday
- Super Bowl Sunday
- During the Invitational

80+ Hockey Hall of Fame
2024 Huntsville 80+ Hockey Hall of Fame Inductees
There are 3 things happening for the 80+ this year.
- Inductions for our very own: Henry Svazas, Jim Shaw and Jim Savage in Huntsville on August 24th.
- International Game against the USA in Burlington. Warmup skate October 22nd. Actual games October 23rd and 24th.
- Induction for Keith Jalbert in Ottawa October 26th.
Induction Ceremony to be held in Huntsville on August 24, 2024. Our boys will be inducted at the Canada Summit Centre at 20 Park Drive in Huntsville. It contains two arenas. We will be using the Don Lough Arena which is an Olympic size ice surface with seating for 1200+ spectators. So lots of room to come out and cheer on our BOHC members. The main event, the Induction Game for the inductees will start at 3:00. There will be a break for the Tim Bits between the two scheduled periods. All spectators are welcome.
Dinner will be from 6-9pm at the Active Living Centre, also at 20 Park Drive, which is attached to the arena.
