Congratulations to our Champions
You did it!
Championship weekend wrapped up Sunday and we would like to congratulate everyone that made it through to the finals. https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjC8jZb
I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to all of our amazing volunteers—Captains, Convenors, the Board, and everyone who contributed—for your incredible hard work this past year. Your dedication and effort have truly made it a great success. A special thank you to Gunther Kaschuba for organizing and running Championship Sunday. It was a long day, but your meticulous planning, from arranging prizes to coordinating scoresheets and ensuring smooth operations for our announcers, made it all possible. We truly appreciate you making sure every team received their division trophy and for the final team photo.
I also want to extend our thanks to Chad Courtney for the excellent job producing our Championship game videos. As Chad completes each game, he will post them all on our YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@burlingtonoldtimershockeyc2793/videos - COMING SOON. Can't wait to hear the colour commentary.
Also a big thank you to David Zavitz for managing the awards at Hectors. Scot Cameron and Paul Greenlee for helping out at the rink and club, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Your contributions are invaluable, and we are so fortunate to have such a dedicated team of volunteers.
Congratulations to the WINGS for winning the Horse Race $$ and to everyone for participating in that as well.
