Happy Holidays Gentlemen
Hard to believe but the holiday break is almost upon us and we are more than half-way through the regular season.
The convenors are feeling very good about the parity amongst teams and the style of play out there this year. Paddy may be on to something with his theory on the club helping ease any tension with a post-game beverage and laughs. Frequently we've seen multiple teams sitting together and swapping stories. It's what the BOHC is all about and it feels as though this year has really been a fun one so far both on the ice and back at the club. Thanks to everyone for making the effort to recognize when a player is in a vulnerable position and dialling back the intensity a notch! Please keep it up!
Reminder that the tournament will be here before you know it. Let's get those tickets sold and ensure we get our volunteers signed up.
BOWSERs have seen really good response so far this year. The need has never been greater in the community and the BOWSERs do such a great job making it easy for us to give. The next one is Sunday December 15 so please bring some food or a cash donation if you can.
Our Pool Convenor has done an amazing job this year. We're setting new standards for requests and David has been sending loads of pool money back to the club. Tell a friend over the holiday about how awesome the BOHC is, we could use some extra skaters as we head into the second half. We do have two full time spot available and history tells us we'll have a few more.
