Happy December White Division
Congratulations on making it this far boys. As we play our last game of the season tonight, the Canadians are off to a great start. Captains and convenors have met and are hoping that some of the recent moves will help to balance the playing field. Thanks to those gentlemen involved in the moves for doing so with nothing but class!
Paddy's rants appear to be having a positive effect. While the play is strong and fast (for oldtimers!), we have noticed that guys are giving a bit of room to players in vulnerable positions. Players are also holding their breath when a call may not have gone their way. Cudos for all of your efforts guys.
Hats off to David Schwartz and his awesome Pool Convenor efforts! Matt thought we would never see numbers like he was producing and David is blowing them away! The contributions back to the club have been tremendous - even with Terry playing 3 games a night!
The recent pub nights on our “early” game nights have had awesome turnout at the club. Lots of laughs all around. Great to see the real reason we're the best division in the BOHC in full display. Let's make sure we get back there when we can and support the club.
The BOWSER’s have been a success. The next one is on January 21, 2024. Reminder that everyone that contributes is entered into a draw for a pair of Leaf tickets each month. This is a great new initiative for such an important aspect of club - community service. As everyone knows, there has never been greater demand for support within our community so please continue to give what you can to help.
