Last Third of the Season Ahead
The BOHC Tournament is now behind us, and we have the last third of the season ahead with nine more regular season games and five round robin play-off games to go. Currently Mark Goulet’s Senators lead the pack with a commanding lead at 48 points followed by Flames and Oilers tied for second at 40 points, and Canadians at 39. Leafs and Canucks are vying for a late season surge and are both solid sleeper picks in the playoffs. Great season so far with all games competitive and clean. Let’s continue with the Oldtimers spirit and treat our fellow members with respect on and off the ice.
Playoffs and Championship Day
You have all likely noticed but the playoff schedule is now posted with the round robin starting on March 25th. Mark your calendars for the playoffs, and for Championship Sunday with Red division game at 5pm on Sunday, April 12th at Mainway 2. If you are not involved in the game, it’s still a fun game to come out and watch and cheer on your fellow BOHC members. Plus, tickets are free!
Yearend Banquet – Thursday, April 23rd - Hectors
Stephen, Rob, and I would like to give a huge thank you to all the teams as we have sold all the tickets for the BOHC tournament. This secures us a complimentary year end banquet hosted by the tournament committee as well as some raffle prizes during our banquet. We have locked down Thursday, April 23rd as our yearend banquet which will be held at Hectors starting at 6pm.
