Good start to the season/Christmas Dance November 23rd/Pub night December 7th / Block you April Calendar
Great start to the season everyone! It’s hard to believe but we are already a quarter through our season and we so far have a tie for first place between the Wings and Habs, and Bruins and Leafs only two points behind. Watch for the sleeper teams Hawks and Rangers as in many seasons one of the bottom teams seems to make the Championship game. Thanks to everyone for making this a smooth start to the season with great BOHC attitude on and off the ice.
Christmas Dance – Saturday November 23rd in support of the Burlington Food Bank
Join your fellow BOHC members at the Christmas dance featuring live music and door prizes. Your team will likely have purchased tickets and if you are interested in attending check in with your captain for tickets. Here is the link for more information.

Pub Night Saturday December 7th
All Red division have games on Saturday, December 7th from 4-6pm. This is a great time to get out as a team, head to Hectors, where you can watch (or not) your games on live barn and enjoy a frosty beverage and team organized grub. This is organized by your captains so discuss as a team and make some plans. We have discussed inviting the Referee’s to our pub night as well to include them as fellow members and should they attend please make them feel a part of our Red division community. This could go a long way in making them feel like a part of our group as the season progresses.
Block your April Calendar
As you may be aware the full schedule including playoffs and our Championship game is not posted yet as the city does not give out ice time until early in 2025. As you make plans for next year make sure you allow for a couple of weeks of hockey following regular season play. As we started early this year I suspect (but no guarantees) that we will be playing playoffs in the latter part of March and first week of April.
Thanks everyone and keep your stick on the ice!
