BOHC Supports the Burlington Community
On Wednesday September 10th your captains and convenors attended a meeting from our BOHC board and leadership group. I personally am happy to be a part of a club that enjoys such a rich history of being an integral part of the community since its inception. Part of what the club is all about is giving back to the community and during this gathering our club presented donation cheques to the Burlington Food Bank for $31,775 and The Carpenter Hospice for $21,900. This is from tickets purchased for the invitational tournament, donations of food and cash during our BOWSER nights through the season as well as other events over the past year. Red division raised $710 during our annual season ending banquet held last April. let's keep it going and make this the best year yet. Your captains will provide reminders of our BOWSER nights (which are typically the third Sunday of every month) and anyone participating will be entered into a draw for Leafs tickets provided by our BOWSER sponsor Bryan and Melissa Uba - Re/Max.
