Derek Lutz has been a valued member of BOHC since 2001, currently playing in the Blue Division as a solid defenceman. His commitment to the Club extends well beyond the ice—he also serves as a team captain in the BOSL slo-pitch league, reflecting his dedication to community sport. Within BOHC, Derek holds one of our most active board roles, overseeing membership and registration, and playing a key role in welcoming new members to the Club.

Paddy Rea joined BOHC in 2010 and currently serves as the Convenor of the White Division, where he also plays as a quick and determined centreman. Known for his unmistakable skating style and relentless energy—much like the Energizer Bunny—Paddy brings passion and commitment to everything he does on and off the ice. As our new Director of Hockey, he takes on a vital leadership role in supporting fair play, team balance, and the overall hockey experience for all members.

Thank You to Our Outgoing Directors

Peter Greig is being recognized for his remarkable and extensive service to the Burlington Oldtimers’ Hockey Club Inc. (BOHC). He has dedicated over 20 years to the organization, serving on its board of directors. During his tenure, Peter Greig held the crucial position of Vice-President of Membership. In this role, he was responsible for managing the registration process for members and assisting divisions in balancing players. His insight and guidance to the board have been instrumental in shaping the BOHC into what it is today.

A big thank you to Peter for all he has done for the BOHC.

Mark Buchanan's long-standing and impactful service to the Burlington Oldtimers' Hockey Club Inc. (BOHC) is truly commendable. His 16 years on the board of directors, culminating in his role as Vice-President of Administration, demonstrate a commitment to the organization's governance and success. It's clear that his insights were invaluable in the BOHC's operations.

Beyond his executive position, Mark's dedication to Hectors as clubhouse manager and advocate has been instrumental in shaping it into the community hub it is today. It's fantastic that even as he steps down from the board, he will continue to manage Hectors, ensuring his ongoing, valuable contribution to the club's community aspect.

We are pleased to recognize Rob Rabey for his dedicated service to the organization. During his three years on the board of directors, Rob held the position of Director of Events.

In this role, Rob was actively involved in various event committees, providing crucial liaison between the board of directors and the many dedicated volunteers who run the club's events. His efforts have been instrumental in contributing to the highly successful events that are a hallmark of the BOHC. The BOHC extends its sincere thanks to Rob for all the time and effort he dedicated to helping with the club's events.
