BOHC Hall of Fame Requirements

In order to be eligible to be nominated for consideration, candidate must meet the following criteria

  1. Candidate must be a member in good standing and had an influence constructively on the well-being of BOHC.

  2. Candidate must have volunteered actively and positively in at least one of the many Committees or On Ice positions for at least 7 years.

  3. Candidate must have been a member of BOHC for at least 20 years.

  4. Candidate while a playing member both on and off the ice showed by their actions and statements that the enjoyment of all participating members, camaraderie and sportsmanship came first and winning last.

To be Inducted, the following steps must be taken:

  1. Candidate must be nominated by a member in good standing at BOHC and supported by at least two other members in good standing.

  2. Nominators must write a letter of reference email to a board member.

  3. Nominations are forwarded to the Heritage Committee. When approved by the Heritage Committee, nominations for the upcoming season will be given to the Director of Events who will then present the nominations to the Board of Directors for Final Approval.

Nominations will happen once a year and must be in around May 1. The Induction ceremonies each season will occur at Hectors on one night in early November to coincide with the NHL HHOF Ceremonies.
